Servo Motors
DC brush servo motors are low cost and relatively easy to use. They offer smooth rotation and often the electronics to drive a brush motor are easy and relatively inexpensive. Brushless servo motors have no brushes to replace and are "maintenance free". Brushless motors offer very high speed performance and because they lack brushes can be used in almost any environment.
